What is PMATI?

PMATI stands for Precious Metals Assay and Training Institute an initiative of the World Gold Council along with leading industry associations, a not-for-profit industry driven initiative.

Who is World Gold Council?

The World Gold Council is the market development organization for the gold industry. Our purpose is to stimulate and sustain demand for gold, provide industry leadership, and be the global authority on the gold market.

Can I attend the course while working?

Yes, you can attend the course while working by completing theory online and attend Practical classes as per your course module

Who is eligible to enroll?
  • 12th Class (Science) or ITI (with Chemistry) or diploma in Engineering
  • Person aspiring to make a career in Assaying and Hallmarking field
  • Businessman/ Owner of Assaying and Hallmarking centers or Jewellery manufacturers
Do you offer weekend classes?

We conduct weekend classes only if batch size is more than ten students

How many students are going to be there in each class or batch?

For Classroom training Max 20 students per batch.

For online training Max 40 students per batch

What is the Admission procedure?

Admission Procedure for PMATI is very simple. The students has to fill the Registration form and needs to submit education certificates and proof of address along with the Course fees as applicable.

What will my course schedule be like?

Duration of the course is based on the course you choose, It can be flexible/Customized.

What certification does one get on completion of course?

Certification is based on assessment criteria or if you choose no assessment module then completion certificate is issued.

Do I have to buy a laptop or any software to attend my classes?

For Classroom training there is no need to have Laptop or any software

For Online theory training you need internet connection, Mobile/Laptop, Microsoft Teams/ WebEx/ Zoom software

What are my future career prospects after completing the course?

The Precious metal industry has ample opportunities for successful candidates. Assay and hallmarking centres, Bullion traders, Gold loan companies, Refineries and mints, banks and institutions can be the potential employers for successful candidates.

Do we have any hostel facility?

The institute can offer support and information on facilities close to the institute where students can find accommodation at a reasonable price.
