What is PMATI?

PMATI stands for Precious Metals Assay and Training Institute, a joint initiative of World Gold Council and MMTC-PAMP India Pvt Ltd, a not-for-profit industry driven and industry- managed initiative

Who is World Gold Council?

The World Gold Council is the market development organization for the gold industry. Our purpose is to stimulate and sustain demand for gold, provide industry leadership, and be the global authority on the gold market.

Who is MMTC-PAMP India Pvt Ltd?

MMTC-PAMP is a joint venture between MMTC Limited (a Govt. of India Undertaking and India’s single largest precious metals trading company) and PAMP S.A. Switzerland (world’s largest privately owned precious metals refinery and one of only five Referees of the LBMA and LPPM).This refinery is India’s first London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) accredited Good Delivery Refinery for Gold and Silver.

Can I attend the course while working?

This is full time 1 month course which will include theory classes and Practical classes.

Who is eligible to enroll?

B.Sc. (chemistry) or Diploma in Chemical Or Any graduate with a minimum 2 years’ experience in the precious metal industry

What is the Admission procedure?

Admission Procedure for PMATI is carried out by IIGJ and it is very simple. The students has to fill the Registration form and needs to submit education certificates and proof of address along with the Course fees as applicable.

Do we need industry experience certificates if any?

For non-science graduates students need to show their experience certificate.

What are the courses that you have on offer?

One month certificate course for basic assaying

Is there a specific day for admission into a course?

On weekdays in between office timings. First batch will be start from 1st Jan 2019

What will my course schedule be like?

It will be 5 days week full time one month course starting from 1st Jan covering equal time for theory and practical

What certification does one get on completion of course?

After completion of the course, students will receive the certificate of attendance and completion for the course titled Fundamentals and Applications of Assaying Module-1.

Do I have to buy a laptop or any software to attend my classes?

No. not necessary.

What are my future career prospects after completing the course?

The Precious metal industry has ample opportunities for successful candidates. Assay and hallmarking centres, Bullion traders, Gold loan companies, Refineries and mints, banks and institutions can be the potential employers for successful candidates.
